SV	Toen ontstak Abner zeer over Isboseths woorden, en zeide: Ben ik dan een hondskop, ik, die tegen Juda, aan het huis van Saul, uw vader, aan zijn broederen en aan zijn vrienden, heden weldadigheid doe, en u niet overgeleverd heb in Davids hand, dat gij heden aan mij onderzoekt de ongerechtigheid ener vrouw?
WLC	וַיִּחַר֩ לְאַבְנֵ֨ר מְאֹ֜ד עַל־דִּבְרֵ֣י אִֽישׁ־בֹּ֗שֶׁת וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ הֲרֹ֨אשׁ כֶּ֥לֶב אָנֹ֘כִי֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לִֽיהוּדָה֒ הַיֹּ֨ום אֶֽעֱשֶׂה־חֶ֜סֶד עִם־בֵּ֣ית ׀ שָׁא֣וּל אָבִ֗יךָ אֶל־אֶחָיו֙ וְאֶל־מֵ֣רֵעֵ֔הוּ וְלֹ֥א הִמְצִיתִ֖ךָ בְּיַד־דָּוִ֑ד וַתִּפְקֹ֥ד עָלַ֛י עֲוֹ֥ן הָאִשָּׁ֖ה הַיֹּֽום׃
Trans.	wayyiḥar lə’aḇənēr mə’ōḏ ‘al-diḇərê ’îš-bōšeṯ wayyō’mer hărō’š keleḇ ’ānōḵî ’ăšer lîhûḏâ hayywōm ’e‘ĕśeh-ḥeseḏ ‘im-bêṯ\| šā’ûl ’āḇîḵā ’el-’eḥāyw wə’el-mērē‘ēhû wəlō’ himəṣîṯiḵā bəyaḏ-dāwiḏ watifəqōḏ ‘ālay ‘ăwōn hā’iššâ hayywōm:

AC	ח ויחר לאבנר מאד על דברי איש בשת ויאמר הראש כלב אנכי אשר ליהודה היום אעשה חסד עם בית שאול אביך אל אחיו ואל מרעהו ולא המציתך ביד דוד ותפקד עלי עון האשה היום {ס}
ASV	Then was Abner very wroth for the words of Ish-bosheth, and said, Am I a dog's head that belongeth to Judah? This day do I show kindness unto the house of Saul thy father, to his brethren, and to his friends, and have not delivered thee into the hand of David; and yet thou chargest me this day with a fault concerning this woman.
BE	And Abner was very angry at the words of Ish-bosheth, and he said, Am I a dog's head of Judah? I am this day doing all in my power for the cause of your father Saul and for his brothers and his friends, and have not given you up into the hands of David, and now you say I have done wrong with a woman.
Darby	Then was Abner very wroth for the words of Ishbosheth, and said, Am I a dog's head, I who against Judah do shew kindness this day to the house of Saul thy father, to his brethren, and to his friends, and have not delivered thee into the hand of David, that thou reproachest me this day with the fault of this woman?
ELB05	Da ergrimmte Abner sehr über die Worte Isboseths und sprach: Bin ich ein Hundskopf, der es mit Juda hält? Heute erweise ich Güte an dem Hause deines Vaters Saul, an seinen Brüdern und an seinen Freunden, und ich habe dich nicht in die Hand Davids überliefert; und du wirfst mir heute das Vergehen mit diesem Weibe vor?
LSG	Abner fut très irrité des paroles d'Isch-Boscheth, et il répondit: Suis-je une tête de chien, qui tienne pour Juda? Je fais aujourd'hui preuve de bienveillance envers la maison de Saül, ton père, envers ses frères et ses amis, je ne t'ai pas livré entre les mains de David, et c'est aujourd'hui que tu me reproches une faute avec cette femme?
Sch	Da ward Abner sehr zornig über diese Worte Ischbosets und sprach: Bin ich denn ein Hundskopf, der ich heute, Juda zuleide, Barmherzigkeit erweise an dem Hause deines Vaters Saul und an seinen Brüdern und an seinen Freunden und dich nicht in die Hand Davids geraten ließ? Und du wirfst mir heute ein Vergehen mit diesem Weibe vor?
